その宇宙シリーズから【cosmic spiral 】
小さなガラスの中に奥行きのある宇宙空間を表現しています。
宇宙のエネルギー螺旋が立体的にガラスの中を流れます。
背面の星々は光の反射で静かに煌めきます。

この作品はウランガラスを使用しています。
UV光（紫外線）を当てるとガラスの中に作り込んだ螺旋が緑とピンク色に発色してブラックライト下の環境でも２度楽しめるものとなっています。

ボロシリケイトガラス(パイレックス)と言われる耐熱強化ガラスを使用して制作しています。
透明度が非常に高いこのガラスは差し込む光の色や角度によって色合いや見え方が変わります。

従来の工芸用ガラスよりも硬質のため、エアバーナーよりも高温となる酸素バーナーを使い、2000℃を超える炎の中で作業しています。真っ白に熱せられたガラスが冷え始めるとガラス本来の輝きがそこに現れ作品は誕生します。
