その甲羅にイカ遺伝子を渦巻かせています。

ボロシリケイトガラス（パイレックス）を使用し、耐熱強化ガラスならではの高い透明度が特徴です。このガラスは、光の色や角度により、様々な表情を見せてくれます。また、酸素バーナーを使い、約2500℃の高温で制作されるため、従来の工芸用ガラスよりも非常に硬質です。熱せられたガラスが冷えることで、宇宙の輝きが現れ、この作品が誕生します。
